ID Types
Standardized identification document type codes used in the rs_id_type field.
Overview
RiskScout normalizes your institution's ID type codes to these standard categories. This enables consistent handling of identification documents for CIP and regulatory reporting.
Your original ID type code is preserved in id_type, while rs_id_type contains the mapped standard value.

Regulatory Considerations
CIP Requirements
Customer Identification Program requires:
- Document type and number
- Issuing authority (state/country)
- Expiration date for unexpired documents
SAR Reporting
ID information is required for SAR subject identification:
- Primary ID type and number
- Multiple IDs if available
- Expired documents should still be captured
